Our client is the Inland Revenue Department of St. Kitts and Nevis, a country in the Caribbean islands.
The Inland Revenue Department of St. Kitts and Nevis wanted to automate their taxation process. They also wanted to upgrade their software application to latest technologies. There were many duplicate records which they needed to trace and merge. The project required us to do local / batch printing implementation, duplicate find-out & merging, data guard implementation and re-synchronization implementation.
Sphinx Worldbiz was engaged in the development of the solution for IRD. We started by defining and analyzing requirements and delivered the solution in quick time. Database Synchronize & Migration was done by integrating two instances into one.
Sphinx Worldbiz delivered the complete required solution by: Upgrading the application from Forms / Reports 6i to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Upgrading Oracle database from 10g (10.3.0.2) to Oracle 10g (10.3.0.4). Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g compatible database is 10g (i.e. 10.3.0.4) Integrating and Merging St. Kitts and Nevis instances Establishing the data guard utility between St. Kitts and Nevis servers to protect the database failure Re-synchronization scripting New application runs on web browser so it is location independently on cloud. All duplicate instances were removed, data storage was centralized, and data protection was implementation through data-guard. The application and database are available 24x7.
